Scientists have come up with a bizarre solution to clean up all the space junk.

Space scientists across the world are attempting a “cosmic clean-up.”

With thousands of pieces of junk hurtling around in orbit, scientists have come up with one solution to clean up all the space junk.

Scientists will fire a harpoon to capture the junk so it will be steered down to the atmosphere and burned up.

If they don’t succeed, the junk could crash into satellites which provide us with telecommunications and weather forecasting.
