Facebook has spent $140,000 'friending' Republicans this year for the US election, CNN reports.

Facebook has spent $140,000 'friending' Republicans this year for the US election, CNN reports.

According to a CNNMoney review of federal records released today, Facebook's political action committee, has doled out more to Republicans, $US140,000, compared with $US127,000 to Democrats through the end of September.
