Several Australians are part of an international team embarking on a bike ride through Vietnam to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Australia.
The 32 riders will travel hundreds of kilometres through mountains and coastal terrain from Hanoi to Ho Chih Minh City, and have already exceeded their fundraising target of one-hundred-thousand-dollars.
The association's director, Boris Struk, says Vietnam was chosen partly because one of the riders runs clinics and trains doctors in muscular dystrophy there.
