A group of 42 Papuan refugees have arrived in Melbourne to start their lives in Australia.
The refugees landed by boat at Cape York in January, seeking asylum from alleged human rights abuses in the Indonesian province of Papua.
The matter has raised political tensions between Australia and Indonesia after they were eventually granted temporary protection visas.
The refugees, including several young, unaccompanied children, have disembarked at Melbourne airport singing and chanting "Freedom for West Papua."
They say they are happy to be in Australia.
