The man accused of the murder of Sydney model Caroline Byrne, has appeared in a London court ahead of an application to extradite him to NSW.
Gordon Wood was arrested at his flat in central London.
He was remanded in custody pending a bail application will be made.
The court set May 17 as the deadline for Australia to lodge a full extradition request.
