White supremacists Jack Van Tongeren and Mathew Billings have appeared briefly in a Perth court, after their recapture in bushland south of Perth last night.
The two were on the run for more than a month, after failing to report to police in February as part of their bail conditions.
They were not required to plead when they appeared in the District Court of Western Australia, charged with breaching bail.
Acting Inspector Ray Butler alleges several firearms were found at their camp near the town of Boddington.
"Indications are that they had been and we're actually initiating further inquiries to identify the locations of their campsite and also any other potential locations that they may have stayed at whilst on the run."
"There's nothing to suggest that they were of ill health and they were obviously clothed in attire that was conjusive to living in the bush." He says.
"There was a cut down 22 calibre rifle. There was also a 22 calibire magnum rifle and a 308 calibre high powered rifle."
The pair were remanded in custody until June 20.
They are due to face trial in connection with the firebombing of four Chinese restaurants in 2004.
