Indonesian newspapers have published a list of prominent Australians who they say support the Papuan separatist movement.
The Greens leader Bob Brown, Senator Kerry Nettle and former Democrats leaders Andrew Bartlett and Natasha Stott-Despoja head the list.
They are joined by union leaders, academics and activists.
Several on the list, including Senator Nettle, have also been barred from visiting the Papuan province.
Senator Nettle says the list and ban also raises questions about a limit on freedoms within the Indonesian province.
"We're free and welcome to speak out about human rights and democracy safely from Australia.
But it does make me worry about what other sorts of lists the Indonesian Government is writing about people who they do have control over and what their views are on the future of West Papua."
The publication comes as tension continues between Australia and Indonesia over the issuing of temporary protection visas to 42 Papuan asylum seekers who landed on Cape York in January.
