The Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Downer and the Trade Minister Mark Vaile, will appear at the Cole Inquiry in Sydney next week.
Mr Vaile has been asked to appear as a witness on Monday, while Mr Downer has been asked to appear on Tuesday.
Counsel assisting the Inquiry says the two will give evidence based upon the statutory statements which were submitted to the Inquiry this week.
