The Federal Opposition leader, Kim Beazley, says Labor will maintain its policy of abolishing full university fees for domestic students if elected in 2007.

Mr Beazley says Australian students shouldn't be forced to pay full-priced fees for their studies, and education needs to be given more of a priority in Australia.

Mr Beazley says that the Howard government is undermining fair access to university, and Australian students should be seen as a national investment.
