The Prime Minister John Howard's approval rating has fallen by six percentage points following the introduction of his government's industrial relations changes.
But the latest Newspoll also shows that the Opposition Leader, Kim Beazley, continues to fare poorly with his approval rating hitting a record low.
Mr Beazley stands on 26 percent, down three percent, while Mr Howard's satisfaction rating is down to 47 percent.
