The Federal Opposition Leader, Kim Beazley, says if Labor is elected to government, it would establish an unfair dismissal tribunal.
He says the tribunal would operate without lawyers and would have to resolve 90 per cent of disputes within three months of lodgement.
Mr Beazley says he will also scrap restrictions on what can be included in agreements between employers and workers.
"I will give employers and emplyees real flexibility to negotiate and agree on whatever terms and conditions they want in their agreements.
"So we'll get rid of ministers' high-head and powers to shackle employers and emplyees from making arrangements that suit their own interests."
