A spokesman for the Cole inquiry says Commissioner Terence Cole has received only one application to cross-examine the Prime Minister during his appearance before the inquiry tomorrow.
The application has come from lawyers representing AWB executives.
The inquiry is investigating almost 300-million dollars in kickbacks paid by monopoly wheat exporter AWB to the former Iraqi government of Saddam Hussein.
The Prime Minister, John Howard, has issued a statement saying he's happy to appear before the Inquiry.
He'll be the first prime minister to go before a judicial tribunal since Bob Hawke in 1983.
Commissioner Cole will hand down his decision tomorrow on whether he'll allow the cross-examination.
