The Department of Foreign Affairs is still telling Australians to avoid travel to Indonesia if possible despite no incident yesterday.
Foreign Affairs had issued a specific warning for yesterday, saying a steady stream of intelligence suggested a possible attack.
The day passed without incident.
But the department is maintaining its upgraded terrorist alert, saying it includes all of Indonesia, especially known gathering places in Bali and Jakarta.
The alert comes as the United Nations counterterrorism committee warns South-East Asian countries are not doing enough to stop terrorist financing.
The United Nations says it is too to move money between countries to fund new attacks.
