Tropical Cyclone Monica is set to wreak havoc on the Northern Territory coast within hours.
Wind gusts are expected to reach 320 kilometres per hour near indigenous communities across Arnhem Land later in the day and tomorrow.
The Bureau of Meteorology in Darwin says its Cyclone Warning continues for coastal and island communities between Cape Shield and Goulburn Island, including Nhulunbuy.
