The AWB scandal has prompted a sharp drop in Prime Minister John Howard's approval rating.
According to the latest AC Nielsen poll, Labor has moved ahead of the Coalition to a 51 per cent approval rating, from 49 per cent, on a two-party preferred basis.
Mr Howard's approval rating as preferred Prime Minister has fallen seven points to 49 percent.
But Opposition leader Kim Beazley has not benefitted from Mr Howard's fall.
The Labor leader's approval rating is down to 30 percent, his lowest ever as opposition leader.
