The body of one of the three miners trapped in the goldmine in Beaconsfiled in Tasmania, has been found.
The Beaconsfield Gold Mine manager, Matthew Gill, says the body was found around 7.20 this morning.
But he says the rescue team does not yet know which of the three men it is.
Mr Gill says the rescuers still have no news of the other two men, trapped nearly a kilometre underground after a rockfall on Tuesday night.
He says the Tasmanian Department of Justice has assumed control of the worksite.
