Three spectators have been injured during a car rally event in Hobart on Saturday.
The three men were sitting in foldable chairs, when driver Nob Ikeda lost control of his car on a corner, careering into the three men.
Two of the spectators are being treated for head, chest and leg injuries at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Organisers of the Targa Tasmania rally have decided to continue the event, and claim safety standards at the race are world-class.
