Veteran channel nine journalist Richard Carleton has died after collapsing at the Beaconsfield Gold Mine.
Mr Carleton collapsed after asking Mine Manager, Matthew Gill a question during media conference.
Richard Carleton has previously worked for the ABC, Britain's BBC and 2GB in Sydney.
Tributes have flooded in for Carleton, who spent more than 40 years working in the Australian media.
