An extra 60 emergency services workers will join the search for the body of a worker missing since Tuesday's massive blast at a South Australian explosives factory.

Three men died and and two others were injured in the blast at the factory at Gladstone in the state's mid-north.

Debris from the explosion was scattered up to 600 metres from the site.

Police say the dead men are Damian Harris, Matthew Keeley and Darren Millington.

Two bodies have been retrieved but are yet to be positively identified.

The search for the third body has been painstakingly slow, with crews hampered by the presence of 300 kilograms of unexploded TNT.
