Wrongly deported Australian Vivian Solon will be seeking at least ten million dollars in compensation for the four years she had to spend in a Philippine hospice, and for her care.
Ms Solon, was deported when authorities incorrectly assumed she was an illegal immigrant, after she was injured in a car accident at Lismore, in northern New South Wales in 2001.
She was eventually found and returned to Australia late last year and has been receiving medical treatment.
One of Ms Solon's lawyers, George Newhouse, has told The Sydney Morning Herald they will seek more than ten million dollars in compensation- two in cash payment and eight to cover her lifetime care.
