British clowns are the latest vicitms of the drought sweeping the Uk.

They have been left high and dry by a ban on "slosh" shows involving funnymen and women drenching each other with water from hoses, buckets and plastic buttonhole flowers.

The clowns shows are naturally a lot less funny without water.

But that has convinced local water authorities who have banned them,

Zippo the Clown has protested saying that the water board has had a "humour failure".
