Hoping to enter the Guinness Book of Records, a group of 20 Palestinian chefs have joined hands to make the largest-ever plate of tabouleh.

Their mass of chopped parsley, onion, lemon, tomato, and olive oil weighed over a tonne and took 20 hours to prepare.

Hundreds of people who gathered at a local school to try the huge plate of tabouleh praised it.

The chefs now hope to enter the tantalising piece of the Middle East in the Guinness Book of Records.
