Officers in Victoria, on Canada's west coast say the man rammed a police truck with a stolen car and then tried to run away. Pago, the dog, gave chase and eventually the caught him before being kicked, punched and bitten by the human.
No charges will be laid on the man for Pago’s assault, but the dog’s handler did point out, perhaps too late, that when a dog is bitten it tends to bite back, only harder
Both the suspect and the three-year old German shepherd suffered minor injuries.
