The NSW Department of Community Services (DOCS) said it would assign staff to deal with more evacuees from Lebanon who are expected to arrive at Sydney Airport this week.
DOCS State Disaster Recovery manager Wendy Graham said the latest batch of arrivals would be offered welfare services, immediate financial assistance and emergency accommodation.
Almost 200 Australians caught up in the conflict have already been provided with temporary accommodation, Ms Graham said.
She said it was important that evacuees received the appropriate support.
"Experience has shown us that people who use formal and informal support from family, friends or other organisations generally recover better from stressful situations such as this one," she said.
The assistance effort is being coordinated with the Red Cross Society, Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), Anglicare and the Salvation Army.
Anyone seeking help is being urged to contact the Middle East Support Line on 180 22 11 (180 22 11) or the NSW Mental Health Support Line on 1800 201 123.
