An African family living in Darwin's northern suburbs claim members of their community are being subjected to racial abuse, threats, and physical attacks on a regular basis.

Karama resident McRoberts Agaa arrived in the Territory in 2001 with his wife and six children.

Mr Agaa says teenage gangs have been targeting African teenagers around Karama, Malak, and Casuarina, but he claims most of the incidents go unreported.
