It will be the first television interview for the pop star since her adoption became an international controversy.
A spokeswoman for Winfrey’s Harpo Productions says the interview is scheduled to be taped later today, US time, and go to air there tomorrow.
David Banda was taken to London last week after Malawi's High Court granted Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie an interim adoption order.
The pop star and Ritchie travelled to Malawi on October 4 and spent eight days visiting orphanages she's funding through her charity.
Father knew of adoption plan
A senior Malawian government official has dismissed as untrue remarks by David’s father who says he was misled into signing over his son for adoption to Madonna.
Yohane Banda claimed he never intended his son to be adopted by the pop star.
He accused senior officials in government of not telling him the truth about the papers he signed.
But his comments have been categorically denied by Penson Kilembe, director of child welfare in the Ministry of Women and Child Development who says the ministry explained every detail of the process to Banda and his family.
Kilembe says they explained every detail and that Madonna also explained her intentions before the judge and in Mr Banda’s presence.
Madonna has faced controversy over her plans to adopt David who was flown to London last week to join her.
