Sally Pearson has continued her encouraging return to competition by finishing third in the 60m hurdles at the ISTAF indoor meet in Berlin.
The 2012 Olympic and 2011 world outdoor 100m hurdles champion clocked 7.91 seconds in a final won by local star Cindy Roleder in 7.85.
Pearson clocked the exact same time last weekend in Karlsruhe, where she also finished third behind world record holder Kendra Harrison from the United States and Roleder.
Having overcome the achilles and hamstring injuries which prevented her competing at the Rio Olympics, the now self-coached Pearson decided she would be best served by competing in a string of indoor meets in Europe rather than in the Nitro series in Melbourne.
Pearson has two remaining indoor meets in Dublin and Birmingham before returning to Australia.
Roleder claimed the silver medal in the 100m hurdles at the 2015 world championships and was fifth at the Rio Olympics.
