Athletes call for Dow Chemical ban

An online campaign with its own website and Facebook page has called on athletes to protest at Dow Chemical’s inclusion as an Olympic sponsor.

And it has already drawn the support of over 25 current and former Olympic athletes.  Read more

For three days fires have burned, shops have been looted and hundreds of arrests have been made. 

But despite the trouble spreading to areas which border the Olympic site itself, the organising committee of the London Games have yet to comment on the impact it could have on the Games.   Read more

London’s Olympics are just one year away, and on the surface it all looks plain sailing from here.

The delivery of the stadiums and infrastructure at Olympic park is 88 per cent complete with more than 3.5 million tickets sold.   Read more
