In 1951, Mohammed Mossadeq was democratically elected as Prime Minister of Iran. A main issue in Tehran at the time was nationalisation of the Iran’s oil industry or, less euphemistically, keeping the money made from Iranian oil in the country rather than handing it over to British interests. Hate Crime Murder on a busy New York Street.

Visitors to New York usually know Greenwich Village as a cute part of the city with crooked streets, tiny restaurants, quirky bars, expensive boutiques, and celebrity sightings. Yet, for those who live and frequent there, all of that is true but Greenwich Village has always cultivated a dark underbelly.
