After last week’s Presidential debate, President Obama and Mitt Romney left the stage and passed the spin bottle to their surrogates and party officials.

Fascinating and bizarre, seconds after the applause in the main auditorium died down, the media room at Hofstra University was officially renamed “Spin Alley” overrun by trumpeters of both parties whose song was that their guy won. Read more

The architects of the rejected plan to reduce America’s national debt have called the country’s fiscal crisis “crazy” and described the financial challenges facing the US as a “cancer”.

Speaking prior to the second Presidential Debate between President Obama and Governor Mitt Romney at Hofstra University in Long Island, New York Erskine Bowles, and Alan Simpson described their proposal as “common sense solutions to this country’s problems.” Read more

In what may be shock news to some, the position of President of the United States is not intended to be the voice of the people.

Post-debate meltdown... should we scrap the entire campaigns?

Mitt Romney put in a strong performance in last week’s debate and has now come back from the dead to be in a position where he is apparently going to win the November 6 election.
