So it turns out the big story of this election may not be about
President Obama winning what should be an unwinnable election or Mitt
Romney’s sense of entitlement or failure to release his tax returns or
statement that he’s given up on 47 percent of the country.
The real story might be what appear to be coordinated efforts in certain states to suppress voting - specifically to stop voters more likely to vote for President Obama from making any impact at the polls. Read more

There are eight more weeks of this election to go and Mitt Romney has
yet to jump out of his box and demonstrate exactly how and why he is a
better alternative as President than Barack Obama.
Any expected jump from the Republican convention never happened. Any expected flip following the Democratic convention didn’t gain traction. Read more

You can be forgiven for thinking the upcoming Presidential election is a
national event. From the East coast to the West, the theory goes, all
of America is up for grabs. This actually isn’t quite true. This
election is about results from just eight states. More specifically,
maybe just two.

Following the frivolity of last week’s Republican National Convention in
Florida, all eyes on the Presidential election now swivel north toward
North Carolina as the Democrats this week do their thing.
On the agenda: officially nominating President Obama as the party’s candidate for the upcoming election, shouting down the Republican view of the world, and communicating, communicating, communicating that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are a REALLY BAD IDEA for America’s future. Read more
