LONDON (Reuters) - Japan's Ryota Murata beat Brazil's Esquiva Falcao Florentino to win the men's Olympic middleweight boxing gold medal on Saturday.

Murata claimed a 14-13 victory at the Excel Arena in south east London.

Losing semi-finalists Anthony Ogogo of Britain and Abbos Atoev of Uzbekistan took bronze.
