Papua New Guinea is into its third day of voting in the two week long election. It started over the weekend in parts of the Highlands region and first time, voters in the new province of Hela will elect their own members. Hela used to be part of the Southern Highlands, but for more than three decades, residents have pushed to split into their own province. It's now at the centre of Papua New Guinea's economic future, home to a project that's expected to double the country's gross domestic product when it starts production.
