Almost one hundred years ago, in the French village of Vinyacorr, an enterprising French couple snapped photos of Australian diggers taking "time out" from the Great War. Today, 800 of the original glass plate negatives were presented to the Australian War Memorial, for a moving and intimate exhibition. It sheds light on the lives of Australian soldiers, biding their time before returning to the Front.
