Australian researches have created the world’s first quantum bit which may lead to the creation of ultra-powerful computers in the future. They’ve created a single atom, a quantum bit, in a silicon chip. It’s the first building block, for a revolutionary piece of hardware capable of procession information, billions of times faster, than today’s technology.
