Does Australia's mainstream TV offer a true portrayal of a multicultural society?
(AAP)
'Home and Away' and other soap operas are being accused of failing to represent the "real" Australia, which critics say, is a lot more diverse.
Some say when there is diversity, it's a stereotype.
What do you think?

Multiculturalism has failed
Some government organizations have embraced multiculturalism with enthusiasm but the majority of the Australian population remain racist . To compound the problem the mainstream media ( TV and Newspapers ) are heavily under control by the Zionist / Globalist in control . Only propaganda and trivia find space in the mainstream media . To get the real news people have to read foreign websites .
portrayal or betrayal ?
The original concept of multiculturalism was as most original forward thinking concepts are, quite acceptable to most educated Australians, however that concept is being hijacked by those endevouring to endorse the creation of sub cultures within our own which will inevitably lead to similar problems to those being experienced by many of our overseas counterparts. Whatever content mainstream or National media may embrace, that content will always be open to manipulation by self interest groups.
Regrettably NO!
Is there any other but “Mainstream T.V.” in Australia? If so, where?!! I’d like to watch something else but royals; pollies; 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th (any more?) World Wars; Friday-Adolf; cooking at home, in Vietnam, with and without celebrities; the ABC immortals; share values; Obama and Hillary; …; …! Once upon a time it was save to turn on SBS at any time – not any longer. Australia's mainstream TV does not celebrate multicultural diversity; rather it indoctrinates single culture conformity.
sbs/abc24
SBS TV - is the answer, they have an incredible selection of programmes, that stimulate the intelligence, and generally produce totally un-biased productions, on any side. Just so good to watch, and. generally educational many of the subjects produced on SBS are not ever viewed on comcl chanls, they couldnt go down that road. That and ABC 24, thank god for them, they bring sanity to morning and evening viewing

Racism in Australia
Racism in Australia is being fed by daily reports of mainly middle eastern thugs using our streets the same way they do in the countries they were turffed out of. Until these immigrants learn to respect our societies laws and customs they will continue to attract suspicion and resentment from the broader community, if that's racism, so be it.
Mr.
I don't believe most of Australians are against a multicultural society. Certainly in my case I have been received with warmth and open arms by the vast majority of Aussies, and I am delighted to live in this wonderful country of ours. Why not to represent this current reality on the media? TV is a powerful tool that needs adequately portray Australia's current society and aid to finally put behind the ghost of racism and intolerance that unjustly continues to haunt modern Australians.
