Who should lead the Labor Party?
Julia Gillard and Kevin Rudd are at odds over the leadership of the Labor Party.(AAP)
Julia Gillard has called for a leadership spill after the shock resignation of Kevin Rudd. The former foreign minister has yet to confirm that he'll run but says he has support within the party. Who do you think is the best person within Labor to unite and lead the party?

absolute disaster
i agree with Geo, who can trust the word of any member of this government, all wrapped up in with gillard in keeping the vote of thompson alive, to save their own sorry skins..you must think that the ozzy public are fools as did bligh. . labour will be wiped out for 2 generations at the next election, you have proved to us that u cannot manage, cannot lead, cannot tell the truth, no financial management skills, cannot control unions, in fact all in all an absolute bloody disaster.
the good old days when labour could be trusted
my father voted labour all of his life, was the most honest man I have met and was proud of his labour ways. He must be turning in his grave over and over, listening to the lies and deciet that this pathetic government go on with day after day. The unions think that members still respect their system, no way, I would suggest that there will be mass resignations from all unions over the next few years, every body knows they are not to be trusted, just like this labour government
goodbye
Then there simon, I said simon (wake up its tea time), and kevin, bugger already suggested him, then the faceless men uhm what are there names shor? what was his name, then the little fellow that buggered off because he wanted to spend time with his family, peter garrett, whoops sorry already said no, sorry just cant think of anybody except juliar to drag the whole sorry lot over the cliff into oblivion, and so say all of us, the sooner the better..goodbye juliar.
I give in who
I thinks garrett should lead, hold on I mean albenese, no, I think smith, whoops its obvious it should be kevin, no hes on the nose, so what about swanny, no hes toxic, okay then what about slipper, thats right hes on the nose along with thompson. Got it what about wong, our second woman pm, hmm maybe not, bligh in qld and gillard havent been roll models, then shorten, no too soon, carr, cant not elected, one of the dodgy brothers, no, still thinking, mickey mouse (not elected) I give up who?
Not our choice
We vote for our MPs, and our MPs vote for a leader to represent them. If they believe Julia Gillard is the best person for that, then so be it. Everyone else don't have to work with the PM, or know her in person, how can we judge which PM does the best job in parliament?
Now Labor Ministers admitted Bob Brown is the PM in the last 18 months
The article of "Brown retirement good for Labors: minister" is clear that Labor ministers have admitted Bob Brown is the PM in the last 18 months, not Gillard. It is not sure Gillard can get back the PM position if she always "YES Madame Milne and YES Ministers", I will do it for you.
NO choice
my choice would be peter slipper or craig thompson, both seem to represent what the labour party has become over the last few years. Since 07, all leaders have proved that they are totally incapable of running the party and country, COLIVING has rocketed, we are now $260bil in the red productivity diving, union domination increasing and no leadership. . pathetic, mickey mouse would be a better option, at least he tells the truth. Roll on the next election, lets bury labour once and for all.
