The United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has delivered a speech in strong support of gay and lesbian rights worldwide.

Mrs Clinton says the continued receipt of American foreign aid may depend on how a particular country treats its gay and lesbian communities.

 

Washington correspondent John Stempin told Greg Dyett how the US sees the program working.
