As the crisis in Syria continues to deepen, there are concerns over violence in the Syrian community in Australia.

The crisis in Syria continues to deepen, despite what the Russian Foreign Minister calls a "productive" visit to Damascus.

 

In Australia, the federal government says further sanctions will be applied against the Assad government.

 

And there have been calls for calm after two violent incidents in Australia, which appear related to the situation in Syria.
