A program at Bondi Beach is aimed at teaching adult migrants vital beach-safety information, in a fun and safe environment.

At Sydney's world-famous Bondi Beach, lifeguards and volunteer lifesavers rescue an average of two-and-a-half thousand people each year.

 

About 85 per cent are foreign visitors or migrants.

 

That is why, after a successful launch last year, the Bondi Surf Club is, once again, running what it has termed its Migration to Surf beach-safety program.

 

Migration to Surf is aimed at teaching adult migrants vital beach-safety information, in a fun and safe environment.
