Rina Vardi:

From the Promised Land to the Lucky country

Rinas parents left Germany in 1933 when she was 2. She grew up in rural Israel, where her father practiced as a doctor, went to a Kibbutz High school and as served as a nurse in the Negev front during the War of Independence. She immigrated with her husband to Australia in 1956. After studying in the USA in the 1960's they opened a chiropractic clinic in WA where she worked as a Clinics' administrator and a chiropractic radiologist.

She learnt to fly and took part in building a 64ft boat.
