Former 2NE1 star Sandara Park has sparked controversy over her choice of hanbok.

On Wednesday, the 32-year-old shared a photo of herself to Instagram in a red hanbok for Chuseok, but some netizens felt that the outfit looked too similar to controversial 15th century figure Uhwudong.

According to Allkpop, "Uhwudong is a scandalous figure of the Joseon Dynasty in the 15th century. She's a dancer, writer, artist, and poet from a noble family, however, she's more well-known for her days as kisaeng (an artist who entertains men)."

Korean netizens commented that Dara should've worn a 'regular hanbok,' rather than one that resembles Uhwudong.

Many fans were quick to jump to her defense though, and a pouring of supportive comments took over the Instagram post.
