Fairy Tail author Hiro Mashima has sketched our first look at the next generation of Natsu, Lucy and the gang.

During a panel at New York Comic Con, Mashima was asked by a fan to draw Natsu’s and Lucy’s child, later dubbed Nashi/Luna. After heading back home, Mashima began designing Gray’s and Juvia’s son, who according to Crunchyroll, is called Shiro or Kuro.

Mashima is yet to confirm whether these designs will result in a new spin-off series, similar to Boruto: The Next Generation, or if it’s just a case of servicing their fans; we’re definitely hoping for the later. Fairy Tail already has a number of spin-offs about Gray, Gajeel and the Sabertooth’s twin dragonslayers, but this would be the first official spin-off sequel.

Fairy Tail ended earlier this year at chapter 545, after an 11 year long run. In the epilogue chapter, Mashima revealed who each character ended up with, including Natsu x Lucy, and Gray x Juvia.
