Legendary Aussie singer Delta Goodrem has always been angelic:

It seems that the multi-talented actor/singer/songwriter and now coach on The Voice, was always meant for the world of showbiz, recently sharing to Instagram this adorable flashback video of one of her first ever gigs - playing a sick kid on A Country Practice:

As Delta grew up, she gained more and more experience on set:

Let's not forget her stint on teen movie Hating Alison Ashley:

While it's clear from Delta's flashback snaps that she's got showbiz blood, so far she has searched in vain for the creative connection in her ancestry – some link that would explain her own musical abilities.

Now in a new episode of Who Do You Think You Are?, she's tracing her roots all the way back to see if singing talents run in the family.

In uncovering some of the hidden history of her great grandmother Florence Bray, she also stumbles on a story of  an enigmatic woman whose life took some unexpected twists and turns.

As family secrets are revealed, Delta unveils her spirited great grandmother’s passions in Marvellous Melbourne.
