The Cardomone family (SBS)
The Family is a major new eight-part observational documentary series that takes us on a fascinating journey into the life of one ordinary Australian family.
The Cardomones are Mum Josie, dad Angelo and their three boys David 20, Stefan 18, and Adrian 14, as well as the extended family Nona Maria and Nona Franca.
With 35 remote controlled cameras installed in their home watching their every move over 3 months, we see their lives unfold; from birthday parties, to exam pressures, household chores to Christmas celebrations.
The result is an intriguing look at the life of a modern Australian multicultural family β what makes us tick, our cultural traditions, how we interact with each other and how we celebrate and commiserate our lives.
SBS Radio are inviting listeners from all backgrounds to join in on the discussion about what itβs like to be in a modern Australian family in November and December.
