First professional musical engagement ...
My first "professional musical engagement" was my year 6 graduation assembly. It was my first gig ever, and I've been hooked ever since.

Top three gigs you've ever played ...
The Tivoli in Brisbane, 2009 Headline show.
Glastonbury Festival in the UK.
SXSW Texas, (not for the gig necessarily, but for the awesome experience of being at SXSW.)

Song you are most proud of ...

I'm proud of all my "children", but I pretty much owe my livelihood to Middle of the Hill, and as it's also about those nearest and dearest to me, I can't help but feel proud of that track, and the journey it's taken me on.

Song you wish you'd written ...
There are a million, but I really love the song "Owen's Lament" by Augie March.

Favourite instrument? Why and where did you get it ...
I'm a guitarist by trade, but I recently got a Piano, and am loving the process of tinkering away on it and trying to get better.

Beatles or Stones?
Beatles.

Howling Wolf or Muddy Waters?
Muddy Waters.

Oasis or Blur?
Blur.

Three musicians you would happily be locked in a green room with after a gig
and why ...

My three band mates, Josh Schuberth, Matt Fell and Jason Tampake. Because I always am locked in a green room with them, and after 2 yrs on the
road together I still enjoy the experience!

Favourite work of art ...
Changes all the time, but i recently went to an exhibition of Dutch Masters and there was an amazing painting called  Dierentemmer (animal tamer) by Lucebert.

Favourite article of clothing ...
I got a great Jacket from Jack London in Melbourne last year. That or my wetsuit, it's very functional, but not appropriate in too many situations.

Favourite colour ...
Blue.

Favourite breakfast cereal ...
Vogels Granola clusters....if anyone wants to send me a case that'd be great!

Last thing you eat before bed ...
I'm not sure if single malt whisky is technically a food, but that's the last thing that touches my lips.

Best opening song on an LP ...
Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Best final song on an LP ...
A Day in the Life.

Currently listening to ...
Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.

Best record you heard in 08 ...
Dark Was the Night. (A compilation produced by the guys from The National for a charity.)

Currently watching ...
Just finished all available episodes of Lost.

Currently reading ...
Galileo Antichrist.

Currently hoping for ...
Summer to hurry up and get back over here.
