Dave McCormack, a prolific musician born in Brisbane in 1968, started out his music career with outfit Who's Gerald? before forming Custard Gun in 1990, later known as Custard. Custard released five albums, winning an ARIA in 1999 for Best Video for Girls Like That, and disbanded in 2000. Dave then went on to release two albums with The Titanics in 2000, and in 2001 recorded his first solo album, The Matterhorn. He has released two albums with backing band The Polaroids, and composed the film score for Garage Days (2002) and West (2006).
