“The Tall Man” will have its international premier at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The feature length documentary, has been selected to screen as part of the Real to Reel programme.
“The Tall Man”, which is based on Chloe Hooper's award-winning book of the same name, tells the story of Aboriginal man, Cameron Doomadgee's death in custody in 2004 on Palm Island. “The Tall Man” is a story of two worlds clashing and a haunting moral puzzle that no viewer will forget.
“The Tall Man” joins the envied ranks of other SBS International titles which have previously been programmed in TIFF, including “Mother of Rock” which screened as part of the Real to Reel line-up last year.
“The Tall Man” is a 1 x 82 min documentary program produced by Pier 4 Productions, currently available for sale in all territories.
