Synopsis

Twenty traditional folk tales from around the world animated by twenty animators. All animations are available in both English and their original language.

The stories are - Djinungs Koorngees, an Australian Aboriginal creation story; Urashima Taro, a Japanese story of a fisherman saved by a turtle; The Herder and Weaver, a Korean love story; The Royal Tigress, a Cambodian tale about a tiger; A Tiny Alliance, an Indian story of a friendship between an elephant and a mouse; Ming, a Chinese story; The Twelve Months, a Russian Cinderella story; Stone Soup, a German story of a beggar who helps a village; The Black School, a Scottish story of a school run by the Devil; Most Beautiful Chick, a Greek story of the beauty of a child to it's mother; Goha and His Donkey, a Middle Eastern story that shows you can't please all the people all the time; The Bird King, a story from Tunisia that proves size doesn't matter; Traitor Friend a story from Jordan showing the true strength of friendship; Marzooq, an Egyptian rags to riches folk tale; The Gameboard, a story of a little boys generosity from Ethiopia; Where Stories Come From, a Zulu story of a mother looking for stories to tell her; The Magic Drum, an Inuit story of a fisherman who catches a skeleton; The Great Fox, an Argentinan "trickster" story; Maui Slows the Sun, a story from Polynesia that sees the heroic Maui lengthening the day for his mother; Tam and Cam, a Vietnamese version of the Cinderella story.
