Synopsis

Salam Café is a comedy series featuring young Muslim professionals discussing the humorous side of current issues with sketches from award winning comedians. Filmed in front of a live audience, Salam Café offers the audience a compelling look at the funny side of life as an Australian Muslim today. Regular panelists include host Ahmed Imam, the son of Australia’s Mufti Sheik Fehmi, journalist and terrorism expert Waleed Aly, and the “Imelda Marcos of Hijabs” Susan Carland.
